What are the differences between a DSLR and a SLR digital camera?

SLR cameras allow  expert photographers  to change lenses and choose the right lens for the given shooting situation. DSLR refers to SLR cameras that take digital photos and the few cameras left on the market still using film are simply called SLR cameras. DSLR cameras are great for  budding photographers  because they offer live previews and do not waste film when photographers make mistakes. There are more DSLRs available in the market so they tend to be cheaper. Film SLR cameras, on the other hand, offer a slightly better quality of colour, tone and contrast. IS PHOTOSHOP KILLING PHOTOGRAPHY?

Allow me to explain my points in this way “Is sandwiches killing the sales of plain white bread?” While making Sandwiches we make use of 2 pieces of white bread with fillings in between. Some people prefer sandwiches while some prefer just plain white bread but in both, the cases of white bread are still needed and thus is bought. Similarly, some people prefer posting and printing photos without editing with any kind of photo editing tools like Photoshop or coral draw. Many people prefer editing their photos before posting or printing. Depends on the priority and need they have but either way, the original unedited photo is needed. Sandwiches didn’t stop loaves of plain white bread going for sale in the bakery. Sandwiches are made of white bread. Because sandwiches potentially taste better than plain bread, more people will eat bread because of sandwiches. Neither will editing photos stop the pleasure of taking photographs in its raw form.
